About Funkatopia

Funkatopia.com is the brain child of Chris Horton aka Mr. Christopher.  When doing research on funk artists, he found a very lacking presence of funk music on the web.  Although hints of the genre floated about throughout music including rap, Top 40, Pop and even country, there were no unadulterated FUNK sites.  So Mr. Christopher went about to fix that problem.

This is how Funkatopia came into being.  It will serve as a hub for all lovers of funk music.  So for you fans of Parliament, Prince, Slave, Lakeside, Ohio Players and the many other funk artists out there, welcome to Funkatopia.
